The Melaka Preschool Sports Day was held on 28th June 2009 at SJK(T) Bukit Kajang Field. A total of 240 students from eight (8) schools participated in this even officiated by Mr. V Ananthakumar (Penolong Pengarah Bahasa Tamil, Jabatan Pelajaran Melaka), school officials and CHILD personnel.

Intenerates:-
9.00 a.m – CHILD Program Manager Pn. S Minachee Sankaran welcomed YB Chua, Dr Ingkaran and Dr Kunaletchumy board of Directors from CHILD and all the teachers, parent and students. About 350 parents attended the sports events.
9.30 a.m – Opening ceremony by Mr V Ananthakumar Penolong Pengarah Bahasa Tamil Jabatan Pelajaran Melaka. In his speech he praised the effort of the teachers and CHILD who successfully organized this sports event for young children. He requested the parents to lend support and encourage their children to take an active part as it is well paid activity. He also congratulated and praised the Directors of CHILD for helping our young children to have preschool education.
9.45 a.m – Sports events started. Each age group had three items. This is to ensure each and every child had a chance to participate
11.45 a.m – Mdm Minachee Sankaran, Mr M Subramaniam and Mr A Sankaran gave away the prizes.
12.30 a.m – The preschool sports came to an end with refreshment being served.
