CHILD’S  Philosophy

“The Child is the Father of the Man” The period between 5 to 15 years in the life of a child constitutes a critical phase in its psychosocial development. It is during this period that the young, impressionable and malleable mind acquires the characteristics that go to make the future of man, for “the CHILD is the Father of the Man”. Many children are fortunate to be born into good homes with caring, concerned parents who have the inclination, the will and the resources to lay a sound foundation for their optimal growth and development. However, many more are less fortunate and are born in the green ghettos or the rural and urban slums which are rudely oppressive to their progress. The basic philosophy of CHILD stems from its conviction that if a child born into an underprivileged home is to grow into an adult with self-confidence and self-esteem, imbued with universal values and impregnated with the skills and desire to contribute to the growth and development of society, of which he is an integral part, he must be nurtured during the critical period of his life, between the ages of 5 to 15 years.
